Ti-Shield 3.3 Hooded Zipfree Wetsuit Description

Perfect for winter in VIC, TAS and mid New Zealand.

This wetsuit was born from a simple request by legendary surfer Peter Mel: create a wetsuit with the easy paddling of a 3mm zipfree, but the warmth of a 4mm. We listened.

The New Ti Shield 3.3 Zipfree Hooded is the result of the reimagined Shield. Ideal for cold-water sessions, like the Santa Cruz California winter, we infused it with our premium heat technology:

We pulled down from our extreme cold water Alpha Series the Yamamoto Titanium Coating and plush Yellow Z-Fleece lining, along with the addition of our KOREgulator kidney panel providing an extra layer of insulation to keep your core warm and you surfing longer.

This new addition was tested by Pete Mel himself and some of our most critical test pilots - the results were stunning.

This innovative combination has successfully boosted the suit's warmth to 4mm+ levels, completely eliminating the need for a bulky, traditional 4.3mm. You'll move more easily, paddle further, and stay comfortable in the water.

This will no doubt be your new cold-water favorite. Unmatched warmth and flexibility in the 8-13 water temperature range.

Straight from the source:
I’ve been running the new Isurus 3.3 Ti Shield with the KOREgulator, and I’m seriously impressed. The KOREgulator tech keeps your body temperature locked in without feeling restricted — it’s that perfect balance of warmth and flexibility. You can stay out longer, push harder, and still feel fresh. This suit performs exactly how you want it to when conditions get real.” — Peter Mel.

Made from the ideal combination of Yamamoto’s new eco-friendly limestone based, ultra premium #40 and #39 neoprenes, which are significantly stretchier and more durable than standard petroleum neoprene.
Plus they are hydrophobic, only absorbing 2% water!

The new Shield zipfree entry / exit design extends on the “Arms Up” design philosophy, resulting in virtually zero shoulder restriction, while the supercharged compression technology further reduces fatigue.

The Isurus Shield zipfree range just might change how you think about wetsuits!
